As things are getting close now I thought that I would put up something on accommodation.
There are a few suites left at Middleton for the night but things will go quickly. Middleton is more of a wedding or function venue than a hotel and so numbers are limited. Please call Elva if anyone is looking to stay the night as she is managing the bookings.
I haven't checked availability on these but other possibilities that would be worth trying are the following;
1. Annebrook Hotel.
Tel: 044 935 3300
Email: info@annebrook.ie
Austin Friar Street
Mullingar
Co. Westmeath
They have separate apartments too for longer stays.
2. Mullingar Park Hotel
Dublin Road, Mullingar
Co. Westmeath

They are on the outskirts of town on the Dublin side and just off the dual carriageway.
3. Austin Friar Hotel
Austin Friar Street
Mullingar

This is a stone throw from Annebrook Hotel above so again very centrally located.
4. Bloomfield House Hotel

Belvedere, Mullingar
Co. Westmeath
Tel. +353 (0)44 9340894
This one is outside of town on the road to the south. Beautiful setting and local golf course and parkland.
For fear of sounding like someone from Bord Failte I will leave it there. There are a few B & B's but these are not too numerous and I wouldn't know with asking around which are any good.
I would look at tripadvisor.co.uk and hotels.com for more information.
For any other queries, drop us an e-mail or call Elva.
